Josh Barnett’s dominant performance at the last Metamoris, where he manhandled and submitted Dean Lister, has impressed grappling fans. His positional dominance and strength were too much for the 35 lbs lighter Lister.
Barnett has competed in the 2000 edition of ADCC. He was already competing in the UFC then. He was beaten by the powerful Mark Kerr by kimura, but surprisingly he lost to the much smaller (185 pounder) Ricardo Almeida by guillotine choke.
