When you train, it’s important to maintain position and control as much as possible. By doing this, you have time and options with your attacks and defenses.
I caught up with 2015 Pan Am brown belt champ Lucas Valente and asked him to demonstrate a great example of maintaining control while pursuing attacks. Here he shows a fun rolling omoplata after a kimura after a single leg attack. Give it a watch and drill it a few times next time you’re on the mats.
