Back in 2012, in a black belt BJJ superfight Osvaldo Queixinho faced Nate Diaz at Gracie Open in Pleasant Hill , CA at the Gracie Open.

Queixinho submitted the UFC fighter in 40 seconds.

Osvaldo Augusto Moizinho, commonly known as “Queixinho” is a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt under the Soul Fighters founding members (Rafael Barbosa, Leandro Escobar, Bruno Mendes and Augusto “Tanquinho”), although he is also known for his time spent as a student and team mate of Caio Terra. A Rio de Janeiro native, Queixinho made his name in the sport of jiu jitsu competing in the United States, where he conquered World and Pan American titles. Read his full biography on BJJ Heroes.

Nate Diaz started training Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 14. In 2o12, Nate Diaz, after 12 years of training, finally received his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Cesar Gracie. He was awarded his black belt a month before his fight with fellow Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Jim Miller.
