Teddy Riner (27) is the most successful judoka ever on the planet. The French heavyweight won eight world titles, more than anyone in the sport of Judo. He is a 2.05m 130kg super athlete. He has already won 3 European titles and was triumphant at the 2012 Olympic games taken gold in dominant fashion.

This weekend, Judo Olympic and World champion Teddy Riner (FRA) won gold at the European championships with… a standing armlock!

Seoi-Nage specialist Sasson (ISR) tried to throw Riner with this technique twice before, earlier in the match and in his third attempt, Riner snapped on a standing armlock for ippon.
