In regards to training in different academies, Andrey Kupreev Stated:

“I have visited a lot gyms, a lot of academies. Starting from ATOS, Ribeiro, Mendes bros, Gracie, everywhere. Also I was traveling around Europe, I was training in Lisbon, in Spain, Finland and a lot other places including Dubai, But for me the highest level I have experienced is in ATOS San Diego, they have very tough guys. They have a lot of black belts, brown belts and training there is very very hard, they train two hours, one hour technique and one hour rolling. It was very hard and very useful.”
