It’s done. Rousimar Palhares has been stripped of World Series of Fighting welterweight champion his title.
The decision came after WSOF president Ray Sefo reviewed evidence of eye gouging and a infamous record of cranking and holding on to submissions too long. Sefo announced the decision on The MMA Hour.

Palhares manager, Alex Davis told MMAjunkie that he would wait for official word from WSOF officials before making an official statement.
