Kron Gracie has been invited to compete in ADCC which will be held on October 19 in Beijing, China. The Rickson Gracie black belt has confirmed that he has received an invitation to compete in the tournament, which takes place every two years and has accepted the challenge.

“I’m coming to win, although the title of ADCC is not the most important, it is just another championship. Experience, going through the sacrifices is what is important.  Marcelo (Garcia) will not come, but still despite of many tough opponents, I’m not thinking of anybody particular.”

Kron also revealed that he wants next year, to follow in the footsteps of much of his family, who defended the Jiu-Jitsu flag in MMA.

“I’m curious to see how I will do in MMA. I don’t know yet, but probably I will leave to compete in Jiu-Jitsu to concentrate on MMA. I will not think too much about strategy and points as I do on the mat, it’s my style. ”

before the end of the year, Kron will also compete in another edition of Jiu-Jitsu championship Metamoris Pro, where he submitted Shinya Aoki last month.

“It was a great fight because Aoki is a guy who I had great respect for, in fact, I was afraid to fight him, because you do not know if he will break your leg or put you to sleep. He’s a dangerous guy, so I loved the rush to train for something I did not know what would happen. Face a dangerous guy, who is there to hurt you, is something that made me grow a lot. By the way he fights and the way I trained for this fight it was something great for me, “said Kron, who has four fights under the agreement with the Metamoris organization.
