The 2013 World Jiu-Jitsu Expo is done and dusted.

Here are their results of the four superfights from day 2 (Check the results from day 1 here):

  • Bruno Malfacine stayed concentrated and didn’t fall into Jeff Glover’s teasing trap.  Bruninho got a sweep and a guard pass guard pass to win the match 5-2.
  •  Dean Lister faced Tarsis Humphreys under ADCC-like rules. Tarsis was a late replacement for Rousimar Palhares. Lister submitted the Alliance black belt with a heel hook.
  • Paulo Miyao faced Jon Fitch in a 20 minute no gi match. It looked more like a 20 minute no gi lecture as Miyao was consttantly attacking but Fitch defended every attack. Fitch is known for his superior defense. Even Damien Maia wasn’t able to submit him. The match was declared a drw since it was submission only/ no points. Fitch raised Miyao’s hand at the end recognizing the tru winner in his eyes.
  • Leandro Lo  faced Jake Shields in a no gi sub only match. The UFC fighter remained on top almost the whole time and Lo tried to sweep and attack the legs but wasn’t able to finish. The match was declared a draw.
