Shamrock Answers Rogan’s ‘Fake Fight’ Accusations

Joe Rogan said on his podcast that parts of the Kimbo Slice vs Ken Shamrock fight looked suspicious. But the ending technical knockout was real.

According to Shamrock, Joe Rogan could be responsible for ruining his career.

Shamrock told Submission Radio:

“Why in the world would someone in Joe Rogan’s position spout off with something like that when there’s no proof?” . “It’s the speculation of his thoughts that could literally ruin someone’s career. That’s like me going out there and telling his wife that he cheated on her. That I don’t have any proof but someone just said something.”

“You have the peoples’ ear. You have a responsibility to make sure that whatever you say, you can back up. Not just say it because you think it. You ruin peoples’ lives on something he has no proof. He’s wrong, what he said. He could have ruined my career and my life. What he’s saying? There’s no proof to it.”

So what’s next for Shamrock? UFC Hall of Famer and current Bellator MMA brand ambassador Royce Gracie is open to a trilogy fight with Ken Shamrock.
Gracie spoke with MMAjunkie before Shamrock’s fight vs Kimbo. When he was asked if he would accept a fight with Shamrock, Gracie said:

“Of course,” said Gracie. “Body feels good, not injured, healthy, same weight from 20 years ago, so, yah.”

Shamrock talks about his planned bare knuckle boxing fight, possibly fighting his brother Frank Shamrock in Bellator, a third fight against Royce Gracie, his documentary “The Greatest Fight”, and more.
