BJJ legend Romulo Barral watched painfully as his black belt student Beneil Dariush was knocked out by a vicious flying knee from Edson Barboza at last weekend’s UFC Fortaleza.

Dariush posted that he was fine and that he would be back:

Over the past few years many BJJ champions have decided to give up Jiu-Jitsu in order to focus on MMA. For some, it’s because of the challenge but for many it is due to financial reasons as making a living in Jiu-Jitsu is very difficult.
