ADAEV TEAM INVITATIONAL 2015 – was organised in Moscow on the 15 September by CHECKMAT Moscow academy and its Head Coach and Leader Daud Adaev, bjj brown belt under Leonardo Vieira.
The opportunity to compete was given only to World, European and multiple National champions. The submission only rules approved by UWW (20 minutes + cast lots) have excited and interested all spectators and according to the interviewing after the event all enjoyed the fights and the fight card. As UWW Grappling World Committee President mentioned:
“This was a unique tournament format where CHECKMAT Moscow academy managed to gather all the best Russian grapplers competing IBJJF, NAGA, ADCC or UWW tournaments. None in Russia have managed to do this before making such an impressive fight card. Hopefully this will be not the least tournament of this type.”
Results of the tournament:
1. Ahmed Gasanguseynov 86.1 kg won Arsen Shalov 86.5 via armbar (6th minute)
2. Arsene Shapiev 93.3 kg won Magomed Magomedov 92.7kg (victory after extra time without technical action)
3. Ali Magomedov 83.6 kg won Rogerio Oliveira 85.9 kg via choke from the back (1 minute 4 seconds)
4. Alou Bochkaev 79 kg won Artem Kuznetsov 74.9 kg via triangle choke (3 minutes 16 seconds)
5. Sitik Muduev 77.9 kg won Imran Mataev 77.9 kg (victory after extra time without technical action)
6. Anton Seleznev 100 kg won Hassan Betelgeriev 106.3 kg (victory in extra-time at 54 seconds via action – takedown)
7. Marif Piraev – Ali Bagov – cancelled
