ACB Berkut is becoming a big player in the Pro BJJ scene. They have had two big pro events in 2017, one in Los Angeles and the other in Warsaw, Poland.
The events featured all the biggest stars in BJJ: Felipe Pena, Edwin Najmi, Davi Ramos, Luiz Panza, Vinny Magalhaes, Erberth Agazar, Alexander Trans, AJ Agazarm etc…
A few days ago they announced that they would organize a Berkut world championship held in Moscow with cash prizes in the same model as the UAEJJF”s World Pro.

Today, Berkut just made a surprising announcement: they are terminating AJ Agazarm’s contract.

Due to not following the rules for athletes of @acb_jj we Disapearances cancel our contract with AJ Agazarm.
BJJEE contacted Agazarm who made the following statement regarding the issue:
As a professional athlete in an extremely competitive, rapidly evolving sport populated by dynamic, diversified, competition, I equate inactivity with digression.
I have, therefore, chosen not to be inactive.
On 6/23, in Phoenix, I will be competing against Benson Henderson.
My time with BERKUT will always hold a special place in my memory, and I wish the promotion success.
Berkut is led by Zaurbek Khasiev from Chechnya, Russia. He is the President of ACB JJ, Vice President of ACB MMA & fight club Berkut. Zaurbek is the son of Chechen businessman and BJJ brown belt Mairbek Khasiev.
