Watch: MMA fighter On Suspension After A Child Got Hurt In Cageside Incident

Performing at a sports event always follows a certain set of rules that are there for a very good reason for the most part. These rules are a reason why amateur fighter Tyler Meadows might not see the inside of the octagon any time soon.

The whole incident took place February 4th, when Meadows fought Dylan Carpenter and managed to knock him out at Impact Fight League 68, held in Detroit.

Foolowing the TKO victory Meadows taken by adrenaline hoisted himself up over the cage fence and hopped off the apron into the lap of a cageside spectator.

After the incident he told Fox2:

“There was an overwhelming feeling of adrenaline in there, I talked to him. I said I was going to take his head off. It’s just a competitive thing.”

But after this the man he was sitting on charged and a brawl ensued.

During the brawl a 12 year old bystander was hurt among other.s Fox 2 reported in fact that multiple people were injured in the incident and that a minor required medical attention.

Meadows has apologized publicly for the incident.

“That was never meant to happen,” he said. “I go there to inspire people. I have a three-month-old daughter. I’m not there to hurt people in the crowd or make people think bad of me.”
