Last night was a good night for bjj. In addition to the superfight between Keenan Cornelius and Sean Roberts the eager fans also got the chance to observe The Jiujitsu.net challenge prominently featuring the purple belt who stunned at ADCC Brazil – Kaynan Duarte.

Duarte also made it to the Heavyweight finals and closed them out with Conner DeAngelis! Of course earlier this year ADCC Rio De Janeiro was quite different – in a division that had names like Patrick Gaudio and Charles Negromonte, Duarte managed to stun and come out on top. He reportedly ended up being the champion having beaten Patrick Gaudio in the finale via points. And all of this at age 18! The future looks ultra bright for this jiu-jiteiro!
