In late March it was announced that US athletes will have an opportunity to represent their country at the UAEJJF Worlds.
United States Jiu-jitsu Association and Storm Kimonos made an exclusive agreement where Storm will supply uniforms to all U.S. National Team members. Dean Thompson, owner of Storm Kimonos, believes in this project and has taken a personal interest in supporting the U.S. National Team.
As a reminder, eligable for the US team are:
Mackenzie Dern, Gianni Grippo, Keenan Cornelius, Edwin Najmi, Tammi Musameci and others.
It’s unclear whether all will opt to represent team USA due to a relationship to personal sponsors. One thing seems to be certain – Najmi’s on board. He just revealed what the USA kit will look like. In a sneak peak flograppling revealed the following two pictures:
Najmi is sponsored by Storm in all his endeavours so it’ll be really interesting to see how many of the eligible for the USA team opt to wear the national kit.
