Renzo Gracie Slapped A Man for Blowing Airhorn In His Ear

One man who never fails to deliver an exciting story is Renzo Gracie. He’s been by far one of the wildest bjj personalities and at the same time one of the most beloved. Recently he guested on UFC Unfiltered and got to tell all about his recent “street fight” :

“So I said to him, ‘My man, this is not polite,’” Gracie told Sera. “And he goes, ‘Yeah, and what are you going to do about it?’ I said, ‘I’m going to tell you what I’m going to do about it: you give me the horn, I’m going to play in your ear, and I’m taking this home. This is mine now, because you not responsible enough to walk around with this.” He said, “WHAT?” I said, yeah, or I’m going to beat the crap out of you and take the horn.’ Anyway, this is it! He look at me and he goes, ‘You won’t do nothing about it.’ So I b**ch slap him so hard, he was flat in the air. When he fell, his girlfriend threw a punch right at my face. I ducked, and I said, “what is this, honey?”

Of course the slap is believed to be a very effective technique by the Gracie family. While Renzo learned it from his father, his younger cousins Rener and Ryron Gracie actually even have it on their curriculum.

Renzo explained:

“That’s a good technique I learned from my father when I was seven, and until today it works. When it lands? it sounds like a 38 caliber shot.

The best was Luca looking at the whole thing, and he goes, “Renzo, why did you hit him with your left hand? You’re right-handed.” And I said to him, Luca, believe it. I thought on everything before I did it. On my left hand I had a $16,000 dollar watch that a shiek gave me as a gift. When I hit him, and I’m looking to see if my watch didn’t take off, you know? And, the reason why I did it with my left, was his girlfriend was standing right behind him. So if I had hit him with the right, his head would bounce back on her.”
