Renowned Rock Magazine Set To Host Live Band Member Jiu-jitsu Tournament

 

 

Kerrang! is a UK-based magazine devoted to rock music, currently published by Hamburg based Bauer Media Group. It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the Sounds newspaper.
 Kerrang! was initially devoted to the new wave of British heavy metal and the rise of hard rock acts. In the early 2000s it became the best-selling British music newspaper. (source: wiki)

We’ve teamed up with PRO MMA Fighter Andre Tieva & Trivium‘s Matt Heafy to bring you the ‘Two Minutes of Hate’. An intra band BJJ & grappling tournament, streamed live via the Kerrang! Facebook Page.

The band Shvpes who are currently on tour with the band Trivium in Europe have decided to spend a few weeks  learning jiu-jitsu  and different grappling techniques from Trivium’s front-man Matt Heafy (Purple belt) & the band’s security for the tour Andre Tieva (Pro MMA fighter).

At the end of training, Kerrang will do a live stream on facebook of the tournament to determine the winner.
