In the night’s main event:
After suspicious looking weigh ins both came out strong but were quite civil and professional about it. Garry Tonon was focussed on getting the back while Danis wanted the pass. The match went in circles as Tonon often ended up on the back while Danis was playing off the passes. This was a catalyst for an attempted leg lock that sadly didn’t come to fruition. Tonon even got some take downs in the match eventually scoring a nice looking double leg. Danis had many interesting attacks but they didn’t really amount to nothing. The aggression along with takedowns swayed the judges decision.
