Osvaldo ‘Queixinho’ On Running His Association & Split With Caio Terra

BJJ world champion Osvaldo “Queixinho” was recently a guest on the best BJJ podcast Grappling central podcast where he talked about various interesting topics including his start in Jiu-Jitsu, competition advice, his split from Team Caio Terra and life as an association owner.

Osvaldo Augusto Moizinho, commonly known as “Queixinho” is a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt under the Soul Fighters founding members (Rafael Barbosa, Leandro Escobar, Bruno Mendes and Augusto “Tanquinho”), although he is also known for his time spent as a student and team mate of Caio Terra. A Rio de Janeiro native, Queixinho made his name in the sport of jiu jitsu competing in the United States, where he conquered World and Pan American titles. Read his full biography on BJJ Heroes.

Back in 2012, in a black belt BJJ superfight Osvaldo Queixinho faced Nate Diaz at Gracie Open in Pleasant Hill , CA at the Gracie Open.

Queixinho submitted the UFC fighter in 40 seconds.
