Miyao brothers have persevered and were crowned victorious at the latest edition of ACB Jiu-Jitsu Grand Prix.
6th edition of ACB Jiu-Jitsu Grand Prix marked a landmark return of Checkmat Head Leo Vieira to competition. Leo Vieira went up against Marangoni in first round. He was too quick for 41 year old Leozinho ending round 1 with a Caio Terra footlock from DLR.
Elsewhere Paulo Miyao put on dominant performances against Tanquinho and Maranhoni. Miyao found himself estima locked at the very end of round 1 of the first match against Osvaldo Moizinho but opted to tough it out rendering his foot twice the size. Even though he could barely stand he managed to get to the title.
In the 60kg division his brother Joao Miyao worked his way through the finals finishing Mayki Araujo and Laercio Fernandes only to win on points in the finals against Isaac Doederlein.
