Mackenzie Dern has been eliminated from the ADCC thanks to some crafty strategy by Karppinen. Karppinen took the lead for 2-0. Mackenzie swept for 2-2 however Karppinen soon got on top again for a 4-2.
Dern was determined to get the chokoplata however Karppinen managed to skate through it securing that the final score with 5s left is 4-2 and eliminated Dern.
Elsewhere Gabi Garcia owned and all the matches in the women’s division were heated!
