Lo Dominates En Route To Double Gold & More Results from Day 2 of IBJJF Pan Ams

DAy 2 of Pan Ams had much excitement. Black Belts returned on the mats once more to finish the road started on day 1. One of the biggest excitements of the day was black belt newbie Cleber Sousa defeating the current champ Michael Musameci in the quarter finals.

Sousa didn’t manage to go much further tho, losing from Tiago Barros in the semis. Day 2 also saw the rise of Isaque Bahiense. He managed to take out many high level athletes including the legendary Romulo BArral. Sadly he too didn’t manage to pull off the gold – he was stopped by Otavio Sousa.

Elsewhere Admilson Gobi Junior managed to get Ricardo Evangelista to pass out – after locking a tight triangle Evangelista didn’t tap. The ref stopped the match as the clock ran out. Evangelista appeared disoriented so the victory was awarded to Admilson. Also worth noting : Lucas Rocha defeated Dillon Danis at the Adult Medium-Heavy division.
