Judo Coach Describes Coming Face to Face With Barcelona Attacker

A british man came face to face with a terrorist as he was shot dead by the police in Cambrils after the horrendous Barcelona attack this past Thursday.

The man in question is British judo coach Fitzroy Davies, who is in Cambrils for a coaching camp.

Speaking with news outlets he described it:

“We were sitting down in a bar having something to eat when four girls run in.

“Next thing we looked and there were people running up the street, and then one of the guys stood up and said, ‘run’.

“Everybody was running, but then me stood there and got my phone out to record what was going on.

“And then a guy, he had silver stuff on him and something in his hand and someone shouted, ‘police’ and within 30 seconds the police came. The next thing they draw their guns, shouting at the guy then shots were fired.”

The judo coach said he was unsure whether the terrorist was wearing a suicide belt, adding it was a possibility.

Police have now confirmed the terrorists were wearing fake suicide belts when they launched their attack.
