Thomas Nadelhoffer is an associate Professor of Philosophy, Psychology and Neuroscience at College of Charleston (South Carolina) and he needs your help.
As someone who works with research constantly he’s always been confused by the lack of data regarding jiu jitsu practitioners. This is even more puzzling when combined with the amount of anegdotal claims any bjj gathering produces.
This particular survey has 3 parts: collecting demographic data, some data concerning your individual journey and thirdly some marketing preferences for merchandise, podcasts and other bjj related things.
While the traditional compensation for participating in a psychological research is absent Thomas hopes that the ability to contribute to the current bjj zeitgeist will be enough.
You can Click Here to do the Survey. Takes about 7,8 minutes.
Once the traffic dies down, Thomas Nadelhoffer aka Grumpy Grappler will close the survey and start compiling the data–which I will publish on The Grumpy Grappler (and on R/BJJ). So, please take the survey and please help spread the word as well.
He’s also open to addressing any questions or concerns completely anonymously!
