Grappling Industries Enters Into Exciting Collaboration With EBI

Grappling Industries has been a pretty solid promotion. Their turn in the spotlight came together with the organization of the No time Limit Superfight between Gordon Ryan and later Keenan Cornelius.

Booking 2x EBI victor Gordon Ryan was a fairly brilliant move given his quest to become notorious through truly outlandish statements he makes all around social media hoping to garner publicity for his next superfight.

But Grappling Industries chose to exploit the momentum while the next superfight promotion might be struggling to announce an exciting partnering up with Eddie Bravo Invitational.

The idea for this collaboration is simple – the winner of Grappling Industries tournaments will have an opportunity to win a trip to Cali to compete at an EBi event. To secure this opportunity one must win the entire round-robin at the designated Grappling Industries event.

Eddie Bravo spoke briefly about this collaboration:

“There are quite a few sub-only tournaments converting to EBI rules,” said the 10th Planet founder to jiu-jits utimes, adding that he believes unified rules are great for the sub-only movement. Aside from that, though, the instructions are simple: sign up, show up, and win.”

Sydney, Australia will be one of the first cities to host an event with a chance of qualifying for EBI
