One of the best episodes of Grappling Central Podcast just came out! In this outstanding edition, host Ryan Ford had the pleasure to interview Murilo Bustamante.
Bustamente is a pioneer of bjj and an MMA legend. He achieved this feat being one of the stars of the famous Carlson Gracie Equipe – one of the best BJJ teams of all time.
The interview covered many topics among them an insightful reflection on the long career of Bustamente, memory of Carlson Gracie and how the famous playstyle came to be along with his experiences with various MMA promotions during the birth of the sport.
Bustamente also spoke about his attitudes toward sport jiu jitsu that can be summed up into: “Learn Everything, Even if Some Of It Might Be Useless!”
Many landmark anecdotes from the birth of jiu-jitsu were told along with the story of Carlson Gracie team split.
