13th Edition of the Eddie Bravo Invitational has been set for 22nd October. The unique sub only event returns following an all female edition of the event. And this post ADCC edition is super stacked – it will be featuring Garry Tonon, AJ Agazarm, Vagner Rocha and Lachlan Giles to name a few!
Set to appear are:
Garry Tonon – Tonon will be looking to regain his footing after being eliminated by the current ADCC 77 kg champion JT Torres in semifinals and losing to Vagner Rocha for bronze. He is the current lightweight EBI champion and as such a heavy favorite.
Vagner Rocha – Fresh off of winning the bronze ADCC medal Rocha will be competing once again hoping to dominate. Rocha defeated the EBI lightweight champion Garry Tonon for the bronze medal.
Lachlan Giles – Another ADCC competitor, Aussie Lachlan Giles will be vying for the prestigious title and prize money once again. Lachlan Giles lost via points to JT Torres in round 1 of the ADCC.
AJ Agazarm – The silver medalist in the 66kg division of ADCC is coming into EBI on the wings of a very good performance. It will be interesting to see how Agazarm does in this ruleset.
Bill Cooper – Cooper has put on several very strong performances at EBI 7 ultimately losing to Eddie Cummings.
Nathan Orchard – Orchard will be there representing the 10th planet flag. Nathan Orchard is a 10th Planet jiu-jitsu black belt under Eddie Bravo with close to 15 years of experience in martial arts. His MMA record is fairly impressive but it’s also allowed Nate to realize his one true passion is jiu-jitsu and he’s been competing for years in order to advance his art. Orchard, along with his chosen students, has the reputation of a submission hunter
Also featuring: Joe Baize, Lucas Valente, Ross Keeping, Mac Danzig, Daniel Tavares, Andreas Achniotis Perales, Diego Brandao, Issa Able and PJ Barch.
In the accompanying Combat Jiu Jitsu tournament – Richie Boogeyman Martinez, Max Rohskopf, Thiago Moises, Bobby Emmons.
