All of brazilian jiu-jitsu community is now buzzing about Roberto Jimenez’s talent. Not only was he able to defeat a significantly older black belt it wasn’t even his first time achieving such success! Then again, of course he also did great at Mundials 2016.
As a green belt he managed to defeat a different black belt! Alliance Team Gacho superstar Blue Belt Roberto Jimenez just recently turned 16 but he’s already managed to win Double Gold in 2016 Pan Ams as well as other medals.
Now a video has surfaced where young hopeful Roberto Jimenez faced off against UFC’s Sage Northcutt.
One of the biggest saving graces in this match was possibly the fact that at the time the competitor level did not permit leglocks. And as an added fact, let us spring this peace of math on you. The match took place in 2013, Jimenez could not have been older than 13 or 14 at the time.
