An armed robber yesterday found out the hard way that an MMA studio might not be the best place to perfect “his craft”. The man in question tried holding up an MMA studio in Burbank, California.
Police said shortly after 9 a man walked into Defiant MMA & Fitness and pulled a gun on unsuspecting employees and customers.
An instructor, lightweight MMA fighter Jacobe Powell, knocked the gun out of the suspect’s hand and pinned him down until police arrived to take him into custody, authorities said according to FOX11 report.
